Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Great Wall Hotel Beijing was a mixed bag. The location near the subway was fantastic and made exploring the city easy, but communication with staff was challenging due to a lack of English speakers. While the rooms were spacious, I found the overall service and dining quality didn’t live up to the five-star label.
During my stay at The Great Wall Hotel Beijing, I found the location very convenient, close to the Agricultural Exhibition Centre subway station and just a few stops from key areas in the city. While the staff were generally friendly, I did have a disappointing experience at the 21st Floor restaurant, where the service was unprofessional and the prices were quite steep. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are areas for improvement, especially regarding the dining options.
The Great Wall Hotel in Beijing had its ups and downs during my stay. The location was quite convenient, close to public transport and local eateries, but the overall condition of the hotel felt quite dated. The service from the staff varied; while some were friendly, I had a few frustrating interactions that made things a bit tricky. Breakfast was included but left a lot to be desired; the options were quite average.
I stayed at The Great Wall Hotel Beijing for three nights, and while it had a decent selection for breakfast and was clean, the hotel felt quite dated and in need of renovation. The rooms were spacious but had some issues like slow-draining tubs and demagnetized keycards. Overall, I would say it’s not quite a five-star experience, though I felt safe during my stay.
During my stay at The Great Wall Hotel Beijing, I found some aspects genuinely charming, like the comfortable beds and the lovely amenities. However, the overall experience was marred by dated facilities and language barriers with the staff. I also encountered issues with the bathrooms and check-in process, which detracted from what could have been a good stay.
